CAMPEP-Accredited Certificate Program

Our CAMPEP-accredited Certificate of Program in Medical Physics is designed for physicists who wish to apply for medical physics certification examinations given by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). This non-degree certificate program provides a year-long professional track for individuals seeking to fulfill the academic component of a medical physics residency. It is offered in partnership with UCLA Physics and Biology in Medicine and accredited by CAMPEP, the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs.

This part-time program requires satisfactory completion of six of the following courses:

PB MED 200A Physics and Chemistry of Nuclear Medicine
PB MED 203   Physic of Radiation Therapy
PB MED 204   Introductory Radiation Biology
PB MED 205   Physics of Diagnostic Radiology
PB MED 216   Fundamentals of Dosimetry
PB MED 218   Radiological Functional Anatomies
